Qualex-Landmark has received development permit approval from the City for Park Point, a two-tower condo development overlooking Central Memorial Park in the Beltline.

Construction on the multi-family development will begin in 2015 at 12th Avenue and Second Street S.W, the former site of the CIBC Operations Centre. Phase one will include 287-units with a range of one- and two-bedroom suites, street-level townhouses and penthouses.

“Our conceptual plans have come to fruition with an incredibly modern residential condominium building,” said Mohammed Esfahani, president of Vancouver-based Qualex-Landmark.

“Development permit approval is an important milestone for the project and allows Qualex-Landmark to proceed with our plans to continue to inject the Beltline with superior architecture that will contribute to the improvement and liveability of the community.”

The development is Qualex-Landmark’s sixth residential highrise condominium in downtown Calgary. Nearby development Mark on 10th recently sold out more than a year before possession dates.
