Are you looking at buying a new condo?

How much is a view worth to you?

For some, it means everything to go out onto your balcony with that morning cup of coffee and stare off into the distance.

For some who live in the Metrotown neighbourhood of Burnaby, that means a view of another highrise right in front of you.

With this in mind, Artesia is promising “expansive, protected views” in Metrotown.

Kicking off 2022, Qualex-Landmark will bring their intimate design expertise to Metrotown with a new highrise residential community (247 homes) in a 31-storey tower set on the quiet side of Metrotown, featuring a collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom residences.

Anchoring this project is a team consisting of award-winning architect firm RWA Group, BYU design and renowned art group Random International. The collection of homes aims to bring forth a sense of reprieve and sophisticated serenity within an urban setting. With 5,300 sf of interior facilities and 12,600 square feet of outdoor programming, residents will have instant access to spaces for work, play and relaxation.

The theme of the project is a celebration of earth, sky and water set amidst a trio of parks. Inspired by the location’s low-density and protected environment, a rarity for Metrotown, Ramsay Worden Architects’ approach to smart urban planning is masterfully executed in their vision for Artesia.

Upon arrival, a lofty and attended lobby sits upon an aquatic base, forming a gateway to 5,300 sf of interior facilities and 12,600 square feet of beautiful outdoor programming by PFS Studio.

Keyless building access and touchless entry point provide added convenience while sanitization and water filtration systems can be found in the common areas. There’s a priority on health-giving air and water, with water filtration stations and enhanced air quality. Embracing the importance of staying connected, the vast common area spaces will have WIFI access for residents. To encourage sustainability, a bike and car share program will be available for residents of Artesia to enjoy and commute to nearby neighborhood amenities. In addition, EV ready parking stalls and storage are located within the secured parkade. Artesia’s mechanical system, managed by Fortis, will also be integrated to ensure efficient performance.

“Artesia is located away from the crowds yet is situated at the centre of it all. The finely tuned homes take advantage of the wide open vistas unique to the location’s low density protected surroundings – a true rarity for Metrotown. Complemented by over 17,000 sq ft of amenity space, Artesia offers the most communal space per residential unit in the city,” said Jordan Beach, VP Sales and Marketing.
