“The heart of each home is the gorgeous Italian Armony Cucine kitchen.”

The Qualex-Landmark Group once again demonstrated its confidence in the Beltline district with the launch of its seventh project in the area, Park Point.

“We specifically chose Calgary’s Beltline community because it is a very established neighbourhood with every amenity and service imaginable within a short walk,” says Parham Mahboubi, vice-president, planning and marketing. “Located on the former CIBC Operations Centre building site at 12th Avenue and 2nd Street southwest, Park Point faces onto Calgary’s historical Central Memorial Park in the very heart of the Beltline.”

Park Point will rise 34 storeys, with a mix of one-and two-bedroom suites in the tower and live/work townhomes at street level. There will also be a limited selection of sub- and penthouse units.

Apartments will range in size from 502 sq. ft. to 1,092 sq. ft. with townhomes from 1,025 sq. ft. to 1,320 sq. ft., all with top-of-the-line appointments, says Mahboubi.

“We would distinguish the Park Point home by three unique, yet complementary features including the kitchen, bathroom and the meticulously designed floor plans,” he says. “The heart of each home is the gorgeous Italian Armony Cucine kitchen with real granite slab countertops and backsplash and LED backlit open display shelving unit.

“This is the first time these unique interior design features have been implemented in a residential condo tower in Calgary. Kitchens also include a fully integrated upscale AEG and Liebherr kitchen appliance package with gas cooktop from Germany.”

Bathrooms will also feature Italian Armony Cucine cabinetry with marble countertops, porcelain tile backsplash and flooring accented by polished-chrome tap fixtures and accessories, creating a spa-like environment.

“The functionality and intelligent design part of the homes is about making a smaller space work as efficiently as a larger space. This comes down to design details such as placement of drawers in kitchens, to the overall placement of appliances that really work cohesively,” says Scott Trepp, president, Trepp Design Inc., interior designer of Park Point.

“This sense of openness is further enhanced by way of over-height seven-foot suite entry and interior doors, expansive windows, recessed pot lights in kitchen and bathrooms, and approximately nine-foot ceilings in living areas. As a final touch, all condos open onto a balcony or patio.”

The Beltline is Calgary’s most urbanized district, says Mohammed Esfahani, president of Qualex-Landmark.
“Aside from what will be one of the most centralized real estate opportunities in the city, the exceptional, protected panoramic views of Calgary and Central Memorial Park make Park Point the best-of-class location for investing in an active lifestyle in the rapidly evolving Calgary City Centre,” says Esfahani.

“In addition to the fantastic amenities within the building, residents of Park Point will have every conceivable service and amenity at their fingertips, from grocery stores, fashion, cafés, gourmet dining, art galleries and parks to athletic stores, hair salons and medical services. You’ve got it all.”
