Qualex-Landmark’s Park Point development won two silver awards at the Nationals 2016, the national sales and marketing awards program of the National Association of Home Builders.

Park Point, a condo tower development facing Central Memorial Park in the Beltline, won accolades in the categories of Best Presentation Centre, as well as Interior Merchandising of a Model under $350,000.
Park Point’s sales centre was custom designed and constructed as a freestanding building, rather than a more usual location within an existing retail space.

“The carefully planned interiors enable purchasers to truly experience downtown living along with simulated views of the city skyline and mountains beyond from the balcony,” says Parham Mahboubi, Vancouver-based Qualex-Landmark’s vice-president of planning and marketing.

“The two carefully planned and furnished display suites served to reinforce the high quality and value of the offering.”
The award-winning show suite features a striking slab of black granite marbled with streaks of white as the kitchen’s backsplash.

“The real granite slab countertop and backsplash is very unique feature of the kitchen and has been a huge hit with our homebuyers,” says Mahboubi. “This premium finish comes standard to all suites and is not an upgrade. The merchandising of the suite was intended to promote functional living as a complement to the rich Dusk colour palette selected for this suite. The merchandise was intended to intensify and contrast with the striking granite slabs and finishes of the kitchen and bathroom.”
The awards were presented at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas on Jan. 19. Developments in the United States, Canada and Mexico won awards.
