Award-winning developer Qualex-Landmark has begun construction on Green on Queensbury, a $100 million condominium project in the soon-to-be revitalized Moodyville neighbourhood. Last Tuesday, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the parkside development, which features one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, garden homes and park-front townhomes.

The ceremony was hosted by North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto, Qualex-Landmark President Mohammed Esfahani, Marcon Construction’s President Marco Paolella, GBL Architects Principal Stu Lyon and PFS Studio Landscape Architects’ Mike Derksen.

“This is a milestone moment for Moodyville. Green on Queensbury is one of the first new developments that will reshape the community by increasing housing supply and revitalizing Moodyville Park,” says Mussatto, in a press release.
Green on Queensbury Pathway

Already proving to be a success, Green on Queensbury was 80 per cent sold when shovels hit the ground last week. Encompassing the entire 700 block of East 3rd at the foot of Queensbury Avenue, the development features three four-storey buildings with a total of 164 homes. Units will range in size from 517 to 1,546 square feet.

With more than a quarter of a century of residential and commercial development experience, Qualex-Landmark has created homes with innovative and distinctive architecture in BC and Alberta. Green on Queensbury is no exception as the homes will blend a unique mix of contemporary West Coast architecture and natural beauty. Sustainability is also key at Green on Queensbury, as it’s targeting the LEED Gold standard for multi-family mid-rise homes.
